The 17th Cavalry Regiment was assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division as well as Airborne Divisions throughout Vietnam. They flew OH6A Loaches, UH-1 Hueys and AH-1 Cobras and were responsible for Air assault, reconnaissance and resupply.
This patch is the post-war pattern worn for a short period from 1974 onward.
Uniform-removed - This patch has been used and shows some signs of wear and stitch marks
