Circa. 1960s
Known as Advisor Dense (ADD) with the Johnson nomenclature, otherwise 'ARVN Classics' or 'Purple'. Introduced in 1968, this pattern was worn by US and ARVN forces until the end of the Vietnam War.
Made from an outstanding, soft Japanese midweight 100% cotton selvedge twill. This shirt has an Asian cut with covered single-button pockets.
Excellent condition with light signs of wear and a great fade pattern - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working.
